    Profile

    He holds a BSc (Hons) and a PhD in Computer Science both from the University of Sussex. Previously he worked in the defence and Telecommunications industries. He has authored or co-authored 134 scientific papers on graphics, virtual and augmented reality and e-Learning, many focused on digital heritage. He has project managed and coordinated on many EU projects.

    Multimedia systems, in particular virtual prototyping of electronic devices and MPEG2/MPEG4 data streaming. Image processing, image compression, lossy compression of multivariate scientific data sets; analysis, and manipulation and compression of deep multispectral electron microscope images.

    My research interest focuses on Electronic Workflows Systems and related areas of Document Workflow, Multimedia and 3D representation in Workflow environments.

    Graduate of BSc Multimedia Technology in the University of Huddersfield. Studied MSc Multimedia Applications & Virtual Environments in the University of Sussex. Expertised in Computer Graphics and especially in 3D Modelling, Rendering and Animation. Stong skills in Web Applications (web design, 3D content, vector graphics, etc).

    Area of Research

    Collaborative 3D Modelling and Rendering based on Grid Computing.

    I belong to Hyderabad, a city of Sindh province, Pakistan. I completed my graduation in the University of Sindh, Pakistan. I have received three Gold medals and one silver medal during my academic career. Immediately after my graduation, I was appointed as a Research Associate and after one and half year I qualified for the Post of Lecturer in the same University. I worked for one more year as a Lecturer and I qualified for selection criteria of PhD Scholarship, and now I am doing my PhD in the University of Sussex, UK.

    High Performance Computing environments - Applying Grid computing based on Web Services and Service Oriented Architectures in preservation of heritage resources, allowing contents and knowledge to be produced, stored, managed, personalized, transmitted, preserved and used reliably, efficiently, at low cost and according to widely accepted standards.

    He holds a BSc (First) in Computer Science from China and a MSc in Computer Science from the University of Kent.
